A deeper, more focused treatment for areas of chronic tension and physical holding patterns  Combining intuitive bodywork and therapeutic techniques, this session supports both muscular release and nervous system regulation.

Why 20 Minutes of Sunshine Each Day Matters

Sometimes the simplest habits have the biggest impact on our well-being.

Current research continues to show that spending just 10–20 minutes outdoors in natural sunlight each day, especially summer time in the morning and winter time between 11am and 3pm, can support both your physical and emotional health.

Sunlight does far more than help us produce vitamin D. It acts as a natural signal to our brain and nervous system, helping to regulate our internal body clock, improve sleep quality, increase serotonin (our “feel-good” neurotransmitter), and support healthy energy levels throughout the day.

Some of the wonderful benefits of daily sunshine include:

• Better quality sleep and a more balanced sleep-wake cycle
• Improved mood and emotional well-being
• Increased energy, focus, and mental clarity
• Healthy vitamin D production for bones, muscles, and immunity
• Support for heart health and healthy circulation
• Reduced stress and improved nervous system regulation
• A stronger immune system
• Support for healthy ageing and overall well-being

One of my favourite reminders is that healing doesn’t always come from doing more—it often comes from reconnecting with the simple rhythms of nature.

If you can, step outside for a few minutes each day. Enjoy your tea in the sunshine, take a gentle walk, or simply pause and take a few slow breaths. These small moments of connection with the natural world can have a profound effect on how we feel, think, and function.

As always, enjoy the sun mindfully and avoid overexposure or sunburn. Consistency is far more beneficial than spending long periods in intense sun.
